The TGS55 bimetal thermometer with electrical contacts can be used for all applications where the process temperature needs to be displayed on site and the circuit must be switched. The electric contact switch (also called "alarm electric contact") can turn on or off the circuit according to the position of the pointer of the measuring instrument. The electrical contact switch is adjustable in the full range. The meter pointer (actual value pointer) can rotate freely within the entire range and is not affected by the setting. The setting pointer can be calibrated from the instrument window using a pluggable key (mounted on the terminal box). The electric contact switch not only contains a plurality of electric contacts, but also can set a single setting value. When the actual value pointer exceeds or falls below the set value, the electrical contacts will switch. The electrical contact switch includes an inductive electrical contact and an electronic electrical contact. The inductive contacts can be used in hazardous areas. Electronic contacts can be used to switch programmable logic controllers (PLC).
